During the annual meeting of the Spruce Mountain Road Association interest in an informational sign at the base of Spruce Mountain Road was mentioned. The Groom Creek Fire District contacted Justin at the Prevention division of the Forest Service and within a week he had the sign installed at the spot suggested.
The sign will display current fire restrictions, prevention, and safety information applicable to the community and District. Please note that the sign is owned and maintained by the Forest Service and nothing can be posted without their permission.
